Hello, my name is Rebecca Hansen. I am the School Nurse at Ashland Ridge Elementary School. I received my Nursing Education and Business Degree from the University of South Dakota. I have worked in various nursing roles. For the past 11 years I have been a School Nurse. I enjoy the challenges and rewards of School Nursing. I particulary enjoy providing individual and classroom education with students.

After school, I am fortunate to share my time with Ankeny High School students, as the Assistant Drama Director and Assistant Winter Cheerleading Coach.

I also enjoy spending time with my family and pets. My husband and I have two daughters; Paige, a graduate from the University of Iowa and Brynn, who will start her freshman year at Iowa State University this fall. I enjoy long walk my dogs, Macy (Schnauzer) and Cali (Labradane), and down time with my cats, Chloe and Mia. In my spare time I enjoy traveling and outdoor activities.
